Terms of Service

Welcome to TinyFrame. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Who Can Use TinyFrame

By creating an account, you affirm that:

• You are 18 years old or older
• You are the parent or legal guardian of any children whose data you add
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You will not use TinyFrame for unlawful purposes

2. Your Content

You own your photos, letters, voice notes, and other content ("Your Content").

By uploading to TinyFrame, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store Your Content on our servers
• Display it to you and invited family members
• Create encrypted backups for data recovery
• Delete it upon your request or account deletion

You retain full ownership and can delete Your Content at any time. We do not review, screen, or moderate user content unless required by law or reported as abusive.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Upload offensive, illegal, or abusive content
• Harass or threaten family members via comments or shared content
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or scrape TinyFrame
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Use TinyFrame to store sensitive documents (government IDs, financial records, medical data)

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

TinyFrame offers a free tier and premium subscription:

• Free: 1 child, 2 chapters, 30 photos, 2 camera presets
• Premium: Unlimited children, chapters, photos; voice notes, all camera presets, album templates, sharing/invites

Subscription details:

• Billed through the Apple App Store via your Apple ID
• Auto-renewal enabled by default
• Cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Subscriptions
• No refunds for partial billing periods (Apple's standard policy applies)
• Price changes will be communicated in advance per Apple's requirements

5. Time Capsules & Locks

TinyFrame's time-lock feature seals chapters until a specified date. Please understand:

• Locked chapters cannot be accessed until the unlock date, even by the creator
• Unlock times are enforced by our servers and may vary slightly based on timezone
• We are not responsible for emotional reactions to unlocked content
• Deleting your account permanently destroys all locked content — it cannot be recovered

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account.

When you delete your account:

• All photos, letters, voice notes, and chapters are permanently deleted
• All children's profiles and associated data are removed
• Data is removed from production servers within 30 days
• Data is permanently removed from encrypted backups within 90 days
• Your subscription is cancelled (no further billing)

This action is irreversible. We cannot recover deleted accounts or content.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, including children's information under COPPA.

8. Limitation of Liability

TinyFrame is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data due to device damage, theft, or unforeseen circumstances
• Unintended content access by family members
• Conduct of invited users
• Service interruptions or downtime

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TINYFRAME'S TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TinyFrame harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the app, content you upload, or your management of family members' access.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, delete your account within 30 days of the change.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in California, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
